When am I charged?▾
Never during the 30-day trial. Card is required at signup so the switch to paid is seamless, but Stripe charges $0. After day 30 you're on $9.99/mo (Founding Cook) until you cancel. Cancel any time during trial = $0 charged ever.
What's the Founding Cook promo?▾
$9.99/month is locked in for the life of your subscription as long as you stay subscribed. The standard rate is $19.99/month — Founding Cook is a permanent discount we're offering while we grow. If you cancel and re-subscribe later, you'll pay the standard $19.99 rate.
Annual vs monthly?▾
$99/year works out to $8.25/month — about 17% off the Founding Cook monthly rate. Same 30-day trial, same cap-free perks, just billed yearly. You can switch from monthly to annual any time without losing your founding pricing on the months you've already paid for.
What happens if I cancel after the trial?▾
Pro perks end at the end of your current billing cycle (you keep what you paid for). After that: dishes and reels past the 10/10 Free cap get hidden from buyers but stay in your kitchen for 90 days. Restore any time within that window. After 90 days, hidden items auto-delete — Eatcircle sends 6 reminder emails and pushes during the grace period so nothing surprises you.
Can I get a refund?▾
Yes — within 7 days of your first paid charge, prorated. After 7 days, no refund (you keep Pro through the cycle you paid for). Anything weird, email us — info@eatcircle.com goes to a real person.
What about boost credits I didn't use?▾
Credits reset monthly — they don't roll over. The first month is partial-pro-rated (you get credits proportional to days remaining in the month).
Are Founder Grants real?▾
Yes. We give Pro perks to community partners, food charities, and cooks rebuilding after kitchen issues. They're admin-approved, not booked as revenue, and surface as a separate 'founder-granted' state in your subscription detail. If you're in that bucket, Pro is on the house — no card on file needed.
